Horizon Teachers are working with an Ofsted rated Good' Secondary School in Lewisham, South London who are looking for a DT Technician to join their dynamic team ASAP.

As a DT Technician you will be responsible for the smooth running of the DT department and supporting students in their practical lessons. This long-term, full-time DT Technician job is on-going, with the potential to be permanent for the right candidate.

The School is Looking for:
  • Resistant materials experienced is crucial
  • Textiles skills (e.g. fabric cutting, organising of laser cutter materials)
  • Digital maintenance (e.g. organising and printing photos of student work
  • Last cutter supervision
  • Display of work/ exhibition set up in preparation for moderators
  • Supporting in setting up cover in classrooms and printing resources in absence of regular staff
  • Support in lessons with small groups of students
