This is a very exciting and progressive opportunity to join a leading Commercial Explosive Manufacturer in the UK. We are looking for an experienced Driller or someone who is looking to get in to this position for their career. This is a multisite role based various quarry sites in the area.

The Drillerwill be responsible for:
  • You will be responsible for operating a Drill Rig to Drill Holes to specific measurement and work scopes.
  • You will be required to review your work progressively until the task at hand has been completed and progress accordingly when necessary
  • You will be expected to deal with any physical day to day requirements, this includes changing Machine Drill Bits, Moving Machines, Lifting Equipment, Handling Liquids, and Changing Hammers.
  • In charge of Health and Safety of machinery doing pre-start checks and ensuring this is continued throughout the shift.
  • Capture all drilling information on a drilling log
  • To report all near misses and accidents in line with the company procedures.
 The Driller will need to have: 
  • Experience as machine Driller – Ideal
  • Experience working outside in a manual handling, active job.
  • Driving license
