As a Drawing Checker, you'll play a pivotal role in our UK office, overseeing the draughting team and serving as the go-to expert for product definition queries. From blades to blisks, your expertise will ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Review and revise detailed engineering drawings for complex gas turbine components, providing thorough checks for accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure strict compliance with aerospace regulations, standards, and quality control procedures across all drawings.
• Mentor and guide junior draughtspeople, sharing your technical expertise and knowledge.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve design processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent experience in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of extensive experience in the gas turbine industry, with a focus on modelling and draughting complex components.
• Proficiency in CAD software, with strong knowledge of NX considered advantageous.
• Ability to independently perform detailed GD&T stack-up calculations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively.
• Experience in a lighter design role is desirable
