Role: Draughtsperson

Location: Jewellery Quarter, B19

Hours: 44 hours per week

Start & Finish Times: 730am to 500pm (Mon to Thur) / 730am to 400pm (Fri)

Salary: Up to £35,000

About the Role:

• Working within a small team of both internal and external Draughtspersons/ Setter Outs, the appropriate candidate will be working closely with the Drawing Office Manager for interpreting technical drawings / 3D visuals from Architects, and then producing technical 2D drawings through AutoCAD/Inventor, for customer approval. 
• Once approved, all information is to then be booked out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing.
• We will be providing support and stability for the appropriate candidate as the Draughtsperson / Setter Out will be involved within the process from inception to completion and be a key member within the company.

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience of designing to manufacture.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes

Experience preferred but not essential:

• Experience in AutoCAD / Inventor
• Experience of metal work
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Able to work on several tasks simultaneously.
