Reed Education North Wales are working with a Secondary school in Denbighshire. We are keen to hear from Drama Teachers who can teach Drama to key stage 3 and 4. This role is full time and is to start April 2024 and is required until mid July 2024. The successful candidate will have a passion for Drama and be committed to providing a high-quality learning experience for students.

Responsibilities:

Teach Drama to students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced level
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate students
Develop and implement a Drama curriculum that meets the needs of students and the school
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Drama education, incorporating new techniques and technologies into teaching practice where appropriate
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
Relevant degree or diploma in Drama education or related field
Proven experience teaching Drama to students of all ages and abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development
