If you're a Qualified Drama Teacher, or a Strong Drama Instructor with experience of teaching the subject throughout years 7 to 11, keep reading! We have a new and exciting opportunity for you at a thriving secondary school in Erdington.

In this fabulous secondary school, students are given a significant amount of opportunities to participate in a variety of extra-curricular activities, including sports, Duke of Edinburgh, debating, student leadership and more. They also have thorough pastoral support for students who need it, through mixed-age tutor groups. creating a familial atmosphere. As we all know, behaviour management can be a large part of the role in a Secondary school, but the strong and unified approach of the pastoral team allow you to focus more energy on inspring your students.

As the successful Drama Teacher, you will organise and direct drama activities and school performances (when required), encouraging self-expression in pupils. You will set assignments, projects, tests and exams, prepare and carry out continuous assessments, marking pupils' work and writing reports. Keeping good order in the classroom and dealing with discipline issues will also be crucial to safeguard all students.
