Reed Further Education will be looking for a Drama Teacher for one of our amazing college campuses based in Wandsworth to start in May.

Role: Drama Teacher

Locations: Wandsworth

Hours: 12 hours (Monday - 3 hours, Tuesday - 6 hours and Wednesday - 3 hours)

Contract type: Temporary (Till the end of June)

Pay: Pay £30.00

What the role entails

As a Drama Lecturer you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students through important stages of their time in a Further Education college including their BTEC, GCSEs and A-Levels. As a drama teacher you'd help your students to value their creativity and imagination and use them to develop their acting skills. They would learn about ways to develop enjoyable and stimulating performances and collaborate with others to create an exciting dramatic experience.

What we need from you

  • Subject specialism in relevant subject
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Track record in effective teaching of subject
  • GCSE or equivalent maths and English
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to get one
