OA are currently working with a successful, growing organisation within the roofing industry and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Draftsman to support the team, producing 2D Autodesk drawings for customers, confidently using Autodesk Inventor when designing projects and creating manufacture drawings for the fabrication team.

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hour week)
• £27,000
• 31 days holiday

Draftsman – Key Responsibilities:

• Producing 2D Autodesk approval drawings for customers
• Be responsible for drawing details and dimensions as well as following client’s specifications
• Using Autodesk Inventor when designing projects from the initial stages through to manufacture
• Create and convert customer drawings from 2D into 3D models for approval to clients
• Installation drawings for standard and bespoke products

Draftsman – Skills and Experience:

• Must have previous experience in using Inventor
• Must be confident in AutoCAD 2D software
• Must have previous construction experience and knowledge
• Strong mathematical and technical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
