Gas Engineer - Up to £40,000 Salary

Are you an experienced gas Engineer looking for your next opportunity in the social housing sector? Our client, a leading maintenance contractor delivering contracts across West Yorkshire, is seeking a safety-focused gas Engineer to join their expanding team.

In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing, repairs, and installations within tenanted properties managed by housing associations and local authorities.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting annual gas safety inspections and routine servicing of domestic gas appliances (boilers, fires, cookers, etc.)
• Diagnosing and rectifying faults with gas appliances and heating systems
• Installing new gas appliances and heating systems to the highest standards
• Maintaining detailed records and ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants and clients

To qualify for this position, you must possess the following:

• Current ACS qualifications
• Proven experience as a Gas Engineer, ideally within the social housing sector
• Strong understanding of gas safety legislation and best practices
• Valid driving licence and ability to travel across West Yorkshire
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Commitment to health and safety and working efficiently
