Our client is a housing association based in West Yorkshire with a real focus on developing good quality affordable housing and high-end customer service. Currently they are seeking a Domestic Abuse Housing Support Co-ordinator on a Fixed Term Contract for 10 months.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing person-centred housing support to service users of domestic abuse services. This role is part time, offering 21 hours per week working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday offering flexibility in regard to start/finish times.

Duties will include:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centred housing support services to service users of domestic abuse services, including refuge and other accommodation, to meet individual needs and contractual requirements of the service.
  • Processing referrals and conducting person centred support needs and risk assessments, you will provide an effective, efficient, and sensitive service where no two working days are the same.
  • Working with DRAMM and MARAC, social services, the police, safeguarding teams, health services and schools.
  • You will be dealing with the day-to-day supervision of the refuge accommodation, which includes a core site and dispersed properties.
  • Identifying and managing situations involving a level of risk.
  • Providing help with medical services
