Achieve Professionals is recruiting for a well-known and highly reputable law firm in the North East that is now seeking an experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join their growing Dispute Resolution team.

Position: Dispute Resolution Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
Location: Sunderland

Experience & Responsibilities

  • Past/current relevant experience, gained within a respected litigation team

  • At least 4 years PQE as a litigator

  • Experience of handling matters in both the High and County Courts

  • Experience of dealing with a range of dispute resolution matters to include, but not limited to contract disputes, contentious probate, landlord and tenant disputes, commercial disputes and partnership disputes.

  • In addition, the successful candidate will also have experience of the resolution of disputes at mediation and/or ADR.

  • Managing support staff


Skills & Attributes:

  • Able to work independently and with a team

  • Excellent organisational, oral and written skills

  • Sound legal research and drafting skills

  • Sound interviewing and advising skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to learn quickly and have flexibility to take on new types and complexities of work

  • Be commercially aware
