DISPATCH COORDINATOR

Our client, who are leaders in their field and have continued to see growth, are now seeking a Dispatch Co-ordinator to join them near Spennymoor. You will be a responsible individual, used to working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to react quickly. This is a varied position, with a business who prides themselves on long-term personal development and progression opportunities and a friendly working culture.
 
Duties as a Dispatch Co-ordinator:

  • Handling queries on all levels
  • Being responsible for the efficient shipping of orders
  • Taking and inputting customer orders
  • Resolving issues and handling complaints
  • Building and maintaining strong relationship with company partners
  • Liaising with internal and external parties
  • Planning and tracking orders straight through to completion
  • Maintaining detailed records and updating systems
  • General ad-hoc duties relevant to the post
 
Skills:

  • Previous transport/dispatch experience would be beneficial but not essential
  • Able to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Pro-active and adaptable
  • A positive and professional attitude
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • The ability to work as part of a team
 
To be successful as a Dispatch Co-ordinator you will have a keen eye for detail, with the ability to meet deadlines. In return you will receive a salary between £25k - £28k per annum, plus company benefits. This is a great opportunity to join an established, thriving company.
