Shorterm are looking for a Disassembly operative to be based in the Gloucester area

Duties to include but not limited to:
*Disassembling complex mechanical parts
*Assisting in the setup of tooling fixtures and contributing to new tooling design
*Utilizing various hand, pneumatic, and small electrical tools
*Performing wet and dry paint stripping, degreasing, and component cleaning
*Following component maintenance manuals and engineering layouts to determine disassembly methods and sequences
*Operating a forklift and adhering to COSHH regulations for safe chemical handling
*Maintaining work areas to 5S standards

Job requirements:
*Experience in dismantling mechanical parts
*Excellent communication skills
*High attention to detail and strong quality awareness
*Proficiency in computer skills
*Teamwork ethic and self-reliance
*Good problem-solving skills and flexibility
*Willingness to train and acquire new skills
*Understanding of Lean Sigma disciplines and 5S principles
*Involvement in continuous improvement activities to enhance efficiency
*Availability for shift rotations comprising Days, Lates, Nights, and occasional weekends

Salary is dependant on experience.
