• Overseeing all financial operations and guiding financial strategy
• Leading the Finance department and fostering a team-oriented environment
• Presenting financial reports to the board and making informed recommendations

• Managing organisational budget to optimise expenditure

Profile

A successful Director of Finance should have:

• An academic background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in a senior financial managerial role within the not-for-profit sector
• Excellent knowledge of financial legislation and regulation
• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide a team
