Salary: £65,158 - £69,785 per annum

Director of Curriculum - The Role:

An experienced Director is required to take a strategic lead in the development of English, Math and ESOL across the college to ensure outstanding outcomes for learners. The suitable candidate will provide inspirational leadership and put the student experience and student success at the forefront of everything you do.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, you will contribute at a strategic level to the success of the organisation, and its students and employees.

You will be responsible for a number of curriculum areas and for ensuring that curriculum management tasks and duties are completed by the team to deliver an innovative offer to students, ensuring that these meet the existing and emerging needs of learners, employers, and the community.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire others. You will also have exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge and data management skills.

Director of Curriculum - Key Responsibilities:

To be considered for the role of Director of Curriculum, English Math and ESOL you will need:

- A relevant degree in a subject relevant to the provision you will manage or relevant experience.

- A recognised teaching qualification and be recognised as a good or better teacher.

- Significant knowledge and experience of curriculum design and delivery of a relevant curriculum area.

- Significant and successful experience of learning and teaching in Further Education, in particular proven success of driving successful improvement and securing success rates above national averages, and in successfully leading and managing changes to curriculum design and delivery.
