This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to be part of a team dedicated to crafting unforgettable journeys for their clientele. In this role, you'll swiftly acquire the essential skills and knowledge vital for success, all whilst embarking on a journey towards completing an SCQF Level 6 apprenticeship qualification, solidifying your expertise in the realm of crafting exceptional travel experiences.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as first-response for processing client bookings, this includes speaking to the client, sourcing the offer, and processing the booking on our systems
  • Access bookings through business intranet and intranet for wider group, creating a digital file via Sharepoint for the client to include invoices and all communication from supplier and customer for the booking
  • Issue confirmation tickets by finding customer booking and processing it on travel CRM systems, Vtarcs and vCRM
  • Open digital files on Sharepoint and upload confirmation correspondence where appropriate
  • Use MS Excel Spreadsheets for passenger information lists and sales reporting
  • Create digital marketing content for the business, including e-shots on MailChimp, newspaper advertisements with all major newspapers, designing adverts and digital brochures on Flipsnack, and uploading social media posts on Facebook and Instagram
  • Inbound and outbound interaction with customers over multiple channels, including email via MS Outlook and telephone to take briefs from the customer.
  • Have thorough product knowledge for destinations by attending online webinars, gaining knowledge for how to navigate supplier websites and client portals

Salary:

£14,000 per annum

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm plus 1 Saturday morning remote shift 9am - 12pm every 6 weeks.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
