This role goes beyond just paid advertising, although expertise in crafting targeted paid campaigns is definitely a plus. Ideally, you will be a well-rounded digital marketing professional with a strong understanding of SEO and its potential for organic traffic growth. 

Role overview

You will be a Digital Marketing Manager with strong PPC and SEO channel expertise, who is used to commercially driving these channels and always looking to optimise. You will plan, create, and execute campaigns across various channels including organic social, Google Ads and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) tailored for the UK and European markets.

You will also manage and optimise organic social media presence across various platforms, focusing on relevant UK and European demographics. This will require conducting A/B testing and analysing data to refine campaign performance and achieve KPIs within the UK and European market context.

Performance Analysis and reporting will also be absolutely critical in this role. You will utilise web analytics tools (e.g., GA4) to track and analyse campaign performance, website traffic, and user behaviour, particularly focusing on UK and European audience insights. You will therefore need to be comfortable diving into metrics, identifying audience trends, and translating those insights into actionable strategies. It will also be important to keep on top of the marketing and digital landscape with changes in the analytics eco system’ GA4, Consent mode etc.

Finally budget management will also key, you will be someone who can maximize  marketing investment and ensure a measurable return on every click especially as you will be dealing with million pound PPC budgets. You will be skilled at ensuring optimal return on investment (ROI) specifically for UK and European campaigns. This will involve identifying

cost-saving opportunities and optimising resource allocation within UK and European budget constraints.

About You

In summary you will be responsible for developing and implementing holistic, 360, data-driven campaigns for both Paid and SEO, managing budgets, and overseeing a team of digital marketing specialists.

The successful candidate will have strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills because there are some really exciting brand partners you will be engaging with from time to time. You will also have the ability to lead and motivate a team with experience in people management also a big plus.
