With my client, we are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to join their busy and growing team based in Manchester. This will be to cover for a period of Maternity leave of circa 15-18 months - you will gain some excellent experience in this time!

You will support the Digital Marketing team in the continued development, maintenance and improvement of their online/digital platforms and execution of marketing strategy.

Tasks will include creating and amending content for their UK website, maintaining materials, assets and product details in their internal content management system, as well as ensuring that digital activity is accurately and regularly reported.

Key duties and responsibilities will include; 
  • Support in the maintenance, updating and improvement of the UK website, in line with content strategy, SEO techniques and digital best practice
  • Work closely with Content Executives and wider digital marketing team to ensure that digital platforms are correct, up to date and optimised for best user experience
  • Ensure accuracy of online content in relation to product specification, pricing and where to buy details.
  • Inputting into the content master plan identifying and tracking content lifespan, ensuring content remains relevant and reflects the direction and needs of the business as a whole.
  • Work with Channel development managers on specific briefs from supporting product launches with landing pages to creative content production opportunities.
  • Communicate out to relevant stakeholders to ensure they know where work is up to.
  • Produce ongoing weekly status reports to highlight work scheduled.
  • Work closely with relevant members of the team, such as content executives and other departments such as creative studio and external agencies.
  • Manage and improve the companies use of User Review submissions and data.
You must be able to operate with minimal supervision and be confident and diligent when carrying out your tasks in line with targets, budgets and return of investments expectations.
