VBS logistics are a state-of-the-art Fulfilment and Pallet Distribution business, providing end-to-end logistics solutions for businesses of all sizes, from storage and order fulfillment to pallet distribution and shipping. We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Apprentice to join our team.

Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 
As a Social Media Apprentice, you will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy, creating engaging content, and building brand awareness. If you have a passion for social media and a knack for storytelling, we want to hear from you!

We are a logistics company that offers ecommerce fulfilment services, we also develop and manage online ecommerce stores ourself so your job would be to build, develop and maintain the presence on this.

Salary:
£18,000 - £20,000 per annum.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement 
  • Create and curate compelling content for various social media platforms 
  • Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and customer feedback 
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels 
  • Analyse social media data and generate reports on key metrics 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing 
  • Take part in in-person events to raise awareness for brands and for our operations 

What we are looking for: 
Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube etc. (not all required) 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to create engaging and shareable content that provokes engagement and interest 
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools such as Zoho social, google analytics and in-built social media control panels 
  • Experience with graphic design software is a plus but not required 

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject 
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
