As the Digital Content Creator, your role will include all aspects of digital marketing communications with the largest area of focus being social media and the content creation, producing high-quality content that engages customers and builds brand recognition across all channels from print to Social Media / Digital platforms.

You core responsibilities

  • Design online marketing campaigns that support the product sales strategy in the digital marketplace to include all social media channels, website and email
  • Being the Social Media Expert, you will take ownership for all forms of social media, ensuring a high level of activity is maintained every day. By creating, scheduling, and publishing marketing content across Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and Facebook - manage audience engagement and design strategies that best utilise each type of platform.
  • Creating content for the company followers and also for the company end users.
  • Respond to all social media / digital related issues in a timely manner.
  • Create video content to support the sales strategies to utilise through social media channels. This will involve product videos and training videos to bring the deals to life
  • Email marketing. Designing and deploying direct mail marketing campaigns which will involve creation of content this will include the weekly newsletter.
  • Build relationships with local clients to lean on for digital content
  • Maintaining the corporate website to include website maintenance and content manager (blog posts, case studies, competitor research, keeping product info up to date). Be proactive in collecting and creating content. Involve colleagues in coming up with ideas, and actively seek feedback or suggestions.
  • Proof reading marketing content as required, prior to collateral being sent to print - attention to detail is critical.
  • Maintain weekly contact with their sponsors for mutual benefit sharing good content and developing shared content

Experience required:

  • Marketing Degree with a focus on Social Media or equivalent working experience within Social and Digital marketing communications
  • Be a creative, bubbly person who is imaginative and can come up with marketing ideas
  • In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok and WhatsApp
  • Able to conduct formal presentations confidently and professionally in meetings or at external events.
  • You will have experience in social media planning and be able to show evidence of past PPC campaigns.
  • A level of competency with Adobe Creative Cloud software with experience producing and editing video and photo content.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Social Pilot, HubSpot.
