We have a fantastic new role as a Digital / Ecommerce Manager so if you are a team player who can build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and who can implement first-rate digital marketing then it could be worth getting in touch.

Its a really hands on, fast paced role so you'd need enthusiasm and the ability to multi task and due to the fact this is a pivotel part of our business going forward we'd need you to be ready to hit the ground running.

You would be expected to be in the Lincoln office 3 days a week so ideally you will be located within easy commuting distant

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:

As the Digital / Ecommerce Manager, you will be responsible for driving online sales and ensuring a seamless user experience for customers.

We would be looking for you to optimise the online quote and buy experiences, drive traffic to the various websites and increase online revenue, ideally therefore you would need a combination of technical skills, ecommerce and or quote and buy experience, digital marketing and business acumen to add value to this role.

Working alongside the Head of Marketing and Comms you'd be delivering and developing the businesses marketing strategy to drive growth. Leading digital projects, new builds, site migrations would play only a part of your role and you would have ownership over all websites and quote and buy platforms across the multiple brands the company is made up of, including over seeing the development, maintenance and optimisation across all company websites.

Online marketing: Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive traffic to our quote and buy websites involving search engine optimisation (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing.

Customer experience optimisation: Continuously improving the online experience to increase customer satisfaction and conversion.

Analytics and reporting: Monitoring key performance metrics such as website traffic, lead gen, conversion rates, ROAS, income.

Processing and security: Ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and implementing measures to protect customer data and prevent fraudulent transactions.

ABOUT YOU :

  • Experience in implementing and working with marketing technology such as SEMrush, Moz, Redeye, Mailchimp, Hubspot, CMS such as Sitecore, Wordpress.
  • Experience in the implementation of data and analytics strategies and customer journey conversion.
  • Experience in lead generation and acquisition strategies, ideally in Financial or Professional Services.
  • Experience in working with a wide range of stakeholders – including sales, customer services, product, brand, and technology.
  • Ability to multitask on projects with effective organisation and management of own time to ensure all work is delivered to scope and on time. Effective strategic planning ability to align with business objectives
  • Excellent communication skills and strong people management experience
  • Able to think strategically, analytically and creatively break down problems and find solutions
  • Experience with A/B testing and strong knowledge of UX design principles to enhance online buying journeys.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and agencies to ensure the delivery of compliant digital campaigns and strategies which are in line with pre-agreed budgets
  • Working closely and managing digital / marketing agencies to ensure collaborative relationships which result in a quality outcomes and ROI

Ideally you would have Professional CIM qualification / Digital Marketing qualifications and have 5 years plus experience in a digital marketing role with proven ability to deliver results, manage multiple sites and plan strategically from within a financial services or insurance industry background.
