Working for a Charity, this is a hands-on, part-time role focusing on website management, SEO strategies and performance, as well as overseeing digital marketing campaign activity and content. This role will aid Directors and Editors in effectively delivering the charity's vision (which is to improve choices for people affected by infertility or genetic conditions).

Use your knowledge of digital publishing and systems to help a small charity make a big impact.

The Progress Educational Trust (PET) is an independent, UK-based charity that has been at the forefront of discussion and debate about fertility and genomics for more than 30 years. 2024 is an especially important year for PET, as it marks the 25th anniversary of the charity's weekly online publication BioNews.

PET is looking for a hands-on Digital Platform, Data and SEO Manager to assume responsibility for digital aspects of its work, thereby helping ensure that the charity continues to thrive and grow.

We need a positive, professional, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.

This role involves direct responsibility for:

The charity's website operation, including making sure that features and add-ons/plugins are applicable and working to deliver impact, and ensuring that integration between the charity's WordPress CMS and Salesforce CRM is working properly.

The charity's database of 10,000+ BioNews articles, including ensuring integrity and protection of the article database and its contents.

Monitoring and managing web and email campaign impact, including ensuring appropriate optimisation of web content with third-party tools (such as Google Publisher Centre and Google Search Console).
