Job role:          Digital Arts Instructor

Location:         Trent Acres - Brookfield Centre, Bridgtown, Cannock, WS11 0JN

Hours:              40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary:             £20,000 - £30,000 per annum dependent on experience

Contract:         Permanent, Term Time only

Are you an Instructor committed to improving the lives of pupils and young people? We are looking for an experienced Digital Arts Instructor to join our fantastic team at Trent Acres - Brookfield Centre in Bridgtown, Cannock.

About the role

As a Digital Arts Instructor, you will deliver fun based learning to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises pupil’s achievement and ability to develop.

You will take a leading role in teaching Music Technology, Gaming and Media in the school. You will work with senior leaders to develop the curriculum and introduce new qualifications in areas such as Gaming and Media.

To work under the guidance of SLT to raise the standard of Digital Arts across the school.

Review, monitor and adapt curriculum matters in order to ensure a challenging, engaging and appropriate Digital Arts curriculum is being delivered to all.

To share the school’s values and ethos to create a highly personalised curriculum to meet individuals needs in an environment that is nurturing and holistic.

Already experienced in an SEN/ASC environment, you will be forward thinking, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by supporting families and helping every pupil to reach their potential.

Educated with Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths.

About us

Options Trent Acres School is currently undergoing development and increasing its pupil’s numbers transitioning from 30 pupils to 60 pupils recently and with approval to open an Early Years Unit and extend our Primary provision. Due to this exciting time for the school the job roles currently advertised are all new as part of this development.

The school is purpose built, modern and welcoming with a range of specialist learning areas including an indoor and outdoor riding school and outdoor gymnasium. Pupils also have the opportunity to work with our horses, donkeys, goats, alpaca and chickens. Learning outside of the classroom is a fundamental part of life at Trent Acres. We have a dedicated staff team who are focused on the delivery of high quality, pupil centred, bespoke packages of care and education.

Our service is in within easy reach of Stoke, Derby, Telford, Stafford, Lichfield, Burntwood, Rugeley, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and surrounding towns.
