Job Role: Despatch Operative
Location: Sheffield
Shift: Days and Nights -
Days: Monday to Friday - 06:00am until 14:30pm
Nights: Monday to Thursday - 6pm until 4am
Salary: Salary between £25,000 - £26,000 per annum DOE.
Metalis are working in partnership with a busy Engineering & Manufacturing business in Sheffield, who due to continuous growth are looking to hire an experienced Despatch Operative on a permanent basis.
Job Duties:
- Process orders in accordance with work instructions. Including correct packaging of material when requested ensuring acknowledged delivery dates are maintained
- Operating FLT, Cranes and Lifting
- Load/unload vehicles in a safe manner ensuring a safe working environment and transport resources are utilized appropriately
- Liaise with production schedulers to ensure coordination of orders and maintain delivery promises
Salary & Shifts:
- Days and Nights - 40 hours
- Salary £25,000 - £26,000 per annum
- Permanent Role
- Company Pension
