Ryder Reid Legal are looking to recruit an experienced and hard-working Desktop Analyst to join one of our growing, international law firm clients on a permanent basis at their London office. The role will be working as part of the firms IT team to ensure the proper level of technology support is provided to all employees & clients.

The duties of the position include:

  • Responding to support requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Performing deskside visits and remote troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Provide direct support for firm-issued hardware to clients.
  • Install and support the firm's remote access technologies.
  • Build & rebuild desktops and laptops using standardised tools and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Contribute to the onboarding process for new hires by computer builds, setting up office workstations etc.
  • Facilitate the offboarding process for departing users.
  • Provide support during any IS technology implementation within the firm.

The ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree in computer science or another related field, advanced troubleshooting skills in Windows Operating Systems and apps, and preferably have prior law firm experience.
