Design Engineer

My Telford based client is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer.

Salary depends on experience

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm

Responsibilities Design Engineer. :-

• Evaluate technical solutions to meet customer requirements
• Produce high quality drawings and layouts using CAD packages
• Produce accurate bill of materials for system entry
• Ensure all designs comply to CDM rules and SEMA/FEM codes of practise
• Increasing sales through prompt designs costings
• Provide Technical assistance to all internal and external stakeholders

Skills and experience Design Engineer. :-

• 2D CAD Drawings
• HNC in mechanical/ general engineering - must have
• Racking experience - ideal
• Revit Bim experience - ideal
• Fabrication drawing experience - ideal

Previous experience in a similar role is required.
