We are recruiting for a Designer for a busy fitted furniture showroom in Chelsea. The company design and manufacture fitted bedroom furniture, wardrobes, fitted units and display cases as well as desks for home studies. An opportunity has now arisen for a Designer to join their team.

The Designer will work with clients to understand their design requirements and put together solutions and room plans using the range of customisable furniture options. The role will be based from the showroom but will also involve going out to meet clients in their homes to measure up and provide a design consultation. The Designer will work within a small team of Designers who are in turn supported by design assistants who provide administrative support.

You will work on a range of high-end residential interior projects and must have experience of working with clients to present and sell a customisable product. This role is perfect for someone who thrives working in both a sales and design capacity where you will have lots of creative involvement with each project that you work on.

This role is offered on a 5 day a week basis including Saturdays. Then the Designer will have Sundays and one other day off during the week. Showroom hours: 9.30am - 6pm. A competitive salary is on offer plus commission that will easily add on an additional £5000 - £6000 on top of basic salary.
