SENCO | Deputy SENCO |Full-Time Role |2 Days SENCO | 3 Days KS2 Class Teacher | Hackney

SENCO required for 2 days a week for a primary school in Hackney. The school is looking for an enthusiastic SEN professional with the capacity to think strategically and manage whole school issues within a small 1 form entry school.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking secondary school with a great team spirit on a long term contract with a view to going permanent.

The ideal applicant will be a qualified teacher holding QTS and be both highly knowledgeable and experienced with Special Educational Needs. Having the SENCO accreditation is a bonus but not essential, but you should have ideally worked in a SENCO or deputy role within a primary school previously in your career.

The role would suit somebody he wants to gain more experience before qualifying as a SENCO.

Most importantly you should be really passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people. Naturally you will need fantastic organisational skills and be an excellent communicator, able to seamlessly fit into the supportive team ethos across the school.

The school is a vibrant inner London secondary school that has been judged to be good in all areas by Ofsted. The current SENCO has been doing a fantastic job so you will be joining at a good time and will be benefit from the well-though out processes already in place.

If you are looking for deputy SENCO opportunities starting immediately on an interim basis and this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in, please send your CV for consideration and we will be in touch if you have the experience and skillset we are looking for.
