Deputy Hotel Manager - £50,000

As the Deputy General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel. You will assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the hotel's operations, including guest services, staff management, and financial performance.  You will be expected to drive change, implementing SOP’s, maintaining high standards and will be a natural leader to our workforce.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure that all departments are functioning efficiently and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Monitor and evaluate guest feedback, addressing any issues promptly to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensure that all guest interactions reflect the hotel's unique brand and style.
  • Provide leadership and support to the hotel team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to improve staff performance.
  • Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions to achieve revenue and profit goals. Assisting in the implementation of cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies.

The ideal candidate will be experienced working within a multi-layered stakeholder environment (brand, owners, management) with v ast banqueting and F&B experience.  Strong commercial awareness and ability to lead, coach and develop the team with h ealth and safety knowledge and awareness with s trong financial acumen alongside a p roven track record of coaching and mentoring team.
