Deputy Head of Financial Accounts

Castlefield are currently partnered with a large company in the Sheffield area who are looking to appoint a new Deputy Head of Financial Accounts on a fixed-term basis. 

This role will aid the leadership of the Reporting & Compliance team who are responsible for statutory financial reporting, the integrity of Financial transactions, financial compliance, external regulatory compliance (e.g. tax) and treasury management.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide specialist support for financial transactions across the university
• Provide oversight of the data integrity of finance systems
• Ensure compliance with external regulation and internal policies
• Lead the day to day management of the external audit and year-end statutory reporting process
