Permanent Deputy Care Manager

One of our reputable clients are currently recruiting for a permanent Deputy Care Manager for a brand new complex learning disabilities/autism supported living service in Hertfordshire.

Length:                       Permanent

Location:                    Letchworth, Hertfordshire

Salary:                        £34,000 per annum

Hours:                         40 hours a week

The role involves:

  • Overseeing the operational delivery and quality of a new complex learning disability service
  • Offering high quality support to customers with complex needs, empowering people to live their best lives
  • Providing direct line management, leadership, coaching and support to Support Workers, Specialist Support Workers and Night Support Workers
  • Ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements and financial obligations
  • Making sure that support is delivered in compliance with CQC expectations
  • Deputising for the Service Manager as and when required

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant experience of working with clients with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and challenging behaviour
  • Understanding of PBS framework and implementation within services
  • Knowledge of CQC
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous line management experience
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and motivated towards excellence and continuous improvement
