Demand Planner/Supply Chain Coordinator required for new role with busy Exeter based business.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled customer service professional or administrator to take the next step in their career. You don't need to have demand planning or supply chain experience to apply. If you are an individual who is capable of learning quickly, is driven and has excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to challenge, then we want to hear from you. Full training will be provided.

What you will be doing in you new role:

  • Managing the order process and overseeing specific customers orders while collaborating with procurement, production, and logistics to minimise any issues or delays.
  • Addressing and resolving customer inquiries and issues regarding orders and stock availability.
  • Maintaining close communication with colleagues to ensure timely dispatch of required equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels without interruptions to critical projects or tasks.
  • Planning and prioritising tasks to achieve results swiftly, safely, and within budget constraints.
  • Effectively following up with other departments such as Production, Procurement, Goods-in, and Dispatch to resolve customer queries.
  • Meeting KPI targets and engaging in value-adding activities as agreed upon with Customer Fulfilment.
  • Managing the expectations of key stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient maintenance of the IT system.
  • Undertaking various administrative tasks in alignment with business requirements.

Full training will be provided for this role but the chosen candidate must possess the following skills/experience:

  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing with ability to build great relationships.
  • Strong Customer Service focus.
  • The ability to use your own initiative and resolve queries quickly and effectively and work well under pressure.
  • To provide effective support to colleagues.
  • Enjoys a challenge and a busy working environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with IT skills including Excel.
  • A team player and someone who is collaborative and motivated.

Package available:

  • Salary up to £27,000
  • Benefits package including enhanced leave entitlement
  • Site based Monday to Friday role
  • 5 hours
