The team at NET Recruit are partnering with a client who is searching for an experienced Delivery Support Manager to work remotely, while supporting on projects across the country with the frequent need for travel. The business itself offers financial services and is embarking on a mission to ensure that communities across the nation have access to money in a sustainable manner, by setting up banking services in hub form, within these communities and partnering with local banks to gain representation for their services offered, enabling members of the public to access this when they need to.

This will role will prove to be vital in fully implementing the proposed projects of the business within the local communities that they are working within. In order to fully understand community needs and raise the positive influence of stakeholder engagement, it is vital to have professionals in this role building strong relationships, bridging the gap between the project managers, the suppliers and communities and providing additional operational support wherever it is needed.

There will be the expectation to travel to sites in the area and across the UK, and this could be relatively frequent, depending on the needs of the business and where planned projects are due to commence.

Roles and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Promoting the engagement of the community to better understand local needs via surveys and other communications
  • Supporting the Programme/Project Managers with product solutions on time and to agreed standards
  • Collaborating with local communities and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of solutions
  • Managing and reporting on the progress of the delivery of solutions, addressing issues as and when they arise and pre-empting possible risks
  • Identifying ongoing solutions for improvements in order to increase the efficiency of the projects and services in the community
  • Setting up reporting processes for the projects
  • Collaborating with suppliers and partnering organisations to track the progress of ongoing projects
  • Providing additional support to the leadership team as they require, including across other projects if needed

What you will need to Apply:
For this excellent position, the company is incredibly keen to hear from professionals with a strong but broad skill set encompassing impeccable problem solving and resolution skills, outstanding communication abilities, both verbally and in written form, as well as resilient time management skills. It would be very useful for the candidate to possess a background in Delivery Support or Project Coordination, with specific core strengths towards stakeholder engagement and management support, in order to effectively liaise with multiple parties on a daily basis, manage stakeholder expectations and fully support the project managers with the scope of the projects at hand. The company have also expressed that applications from individuals with previous experience in retail 'fitouts' would be at an advantage, due to the nature of the projects conducted in the business.

The role will operate mostly remotely with the expectation to travel across the region to assist with the project implementation and relationship building with the communities in which the business operates.
