This postholder will support the delivery of the bus priority programme, which is currently in the pre-construction phase. They will oversee and manage technical construction and design activities within the major multi-modal road investment programme to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements:

• Experience in working with contractors on the front line in mobilising complex highway programmes to site, as well as management of construction activities.
• Experience of working in the public sector, on the client side and be very familiar with working with complex stakeholder/partner environments and competent in maintaining strong governance.
• Adept at writing and briefing technical reports.
• Contract management and contractor engagement, within a NEC environment.
• Civil Engineering background.
• Accredited with a relevant professional body.
