Job Title: DBS Cleaner (Enhanced DBS)

Job Type: Full time - 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable DBS Cleaner to join our team at Local School. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the school premises, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students and staff. The position requires an enhanced DBS clearance, as the role involves working in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of classrooms, offices, corridors, and other areas as assigned.

- Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and other restroom facilities, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies.

- Empty and dispose of waste bins and other trash receptacles, following proper disposal procedures.

- Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are stored and maintained in a safe and orderly manner.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times.

- Assist with setting up and cleaning up after school events or activities, as required.

- Collaborate with other cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.

- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour when interacting with students, staff, and visitors.
