MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client, based in Tees Valley, by recruiting a permanent Maintenance Technician to join their team. The Job You’ll Do;

  • Carryout fault-finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas: Hydraulics and Pneumatics, conveyors, CNCs, Chemical machinery etc.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities on manual & automated production facilities.
  • Carry out PPM and fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of various factory equipment.
  • Prepare technical reports to analyse breakdown causes and make recommendations on countermeasures.
  • Support equipment commissioning and installation projects.
  • Ensure adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
  • Always looking for improvements in the process.

About You;

  • Experience working within a maintenance role in manufacturing, production or facilities.
  • Multiskilled, although a bias towards electrical would be beneficial.
  • 18th Edition & 3-phase electrics experience.
  • Good communicator and able to produce technical reports.
  • Flexible, team orientated and self-motivated approach to work.
  • Comfortable working independently and on ones’ own initiative
