We are currently seeking an Administrator (12 Month FTC) to join our Data Protection team at Together Housing. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data protection laws and regulations, managing data protection requests, and providing support and guidance on data protection matters to colleagues and stakeholders.

Requirements

Outline of Key responsibilities for the Data Protection Administrator (12 Month FTC)...

  • To respond to and process day to day requests from customers and staff including subject access requests within relevant timescales; and also queries under associated legislation/regulations (such as Freedom of Information, Access to Information).
  • To maintain accurate records of all relevant data processing activities.
  • To assist in the investigation and reporting of suspected/actual data breaches and maintain an up to date register of all incidents and breaches.
  • To support Together Housing Group's Data Protection Team' on the delivery of data protection action plans and maintaining compliance with data protection legislation including GDPR.
  • To contribute to the development and maintenance of effective data protection and information governance policies and procedures.
  • To provide support to colleagues in the completion of data protection impact assessments.
  • To provide administrative support in coordinating internal data protection and information governance meetings, including recording meeting notes and actions.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Understanding of data protection legislation in practice
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
  • Ability to maintain accurate records
  • Written and numeracy skills sufficient to carry out the duties of the post
  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using IT and data protection software.
