Diamond Search Recruitment are delighted to be representing our client, an exciting and fast paced agency, who are recruiting for a Data Manager. Join a highly successful team and help support the wider business with making key decisions. The role is a permanent opportunity, with offices based in Folkestone, Kent.

The role - As Team Manager, you are a leader who blends a strong understanding and passion for data-driven marketing decisions with robust project management skills. You are adept at overseeing project developments, including new product innovations, process enhancements, and the exploration of new technologies in our rapidly evolving industry. With your excellent attention to detail, you apply tracking and data visualisation in the context of strategic marketing and business decisions.

The Data Manager will be required to do the following:

  • Lead and Support Team Development: Manage and support a skilled team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development. Ensure that all team members are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and receive the support they need to evolve professionally.

  • Create & manage workflows for the Data team, and provide general support in the daily management of accounts & delivery of time.

  • Support the Data team in their training efforts & be actively involved in knowledge share to help with ongoing development.

  • Uphold and continue to develop key Data skill competencies in yourself and the team to keep up to date with best practices.

  • Meet any KPIs, goals, actions, objectives or other that may be discussed in your role.

  • Innovation and Process Improvement: Monitor and direct key project developments involving new products, process enhancements, and the testing of new technologies. Actively seek and implement innovative data processes to keep the company at the forefront of industry developments.

  • Data Strategy Implementation: Work closely with Account Managers and the Data Team to interpret client needs and develop comprehensive data strategies to meet these objectives. Oversee the creation and implementation of Measurement Plans that aid in tracking marketing and business goals.

  • Client and Internal Collaboration: Maintain direct communication with key clients to keep skills sharp and ensure client satisfaction. Collaborate across various teams within the agency to ensure seamless cross-channel integration

The successful Data Manager should ideally be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience and passion for using data analytics to drive marketing decisions.

  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Tag Manager, Excel, and Google Sheets.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and effectively support a dynamic team.

  • Innovation and Adaptability: Ability to lead in an environment of constant technology and process advancements, and to adapt strategies and processes to fit new industry trends.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and transparently with teams and clients.

  • Google Analytics Certification preferred. Extensive knowledge of measurement techniques and experience with tagging systems, especially Google Tag Manager.

The Data Manager will be rewarded with a salary of £35-45,000, depending on experience, plus excellent company benefits.
