Damp and Mould Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Client:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently representing a Liverpool Housing Association to recruit a permanent Damp and Mould Surveyor. The role offers £37,882 per annum and a flexible working style. The organisation has an excellent benefits package including 28 days annual leave and being part of the Social Housing Pension Scheme.

Damp and Mould Surveyor – Housing Association – About The Role:

  • To be responsible for providing a technical & diagnostic service within the stock managing and maintaining the property assets & providing an excellent contract management service to all residents & stakeholders
  • Ensure that pre and post inspections are carried out in accordance with agreed frequency to make sure quality standards are being delivered
  • Take a proactive approach to the identification of preventative repairs and maintenance to maintain assets and ensuring that the customer’s home is respected at all times
  • Investigate and respond to customer complaints, confirm root cause and put in place corrective action to prevent repeat failures

Damp and Mould Surveyor – Housing Association – What You Need:

  • Valid UK driving license
  • Ability to assess & mitigate any health & safety risks & hazards associated with the building / construction industry
  • Social Housing experience
  • Clear knowledge of Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the construction industry including CDM and HHSRS
