SC Cleared Cyber Security Consultant

SR2 has been engaged by a Public Sector consultancy to support a multi-million pound, multi-year project. This will be an initial 8-month contract with a view to extend beyond that.

This client are leaders in the consultancy space and have been recognised for their work through a plethora of awards and recognition. They operate primarily in the public sector space supporting departments such as the MoJ, HO, DIT and the MoD.

The role will have a firm security focus working within a sub-security team helping to monitor and analyse the environment, identifying and responding to security threats in a timely manner. You'll be working across AWS and Azure supporting the end client to tackle security challenges, supporting the 3 internal teams and providing root cause analysis to help showcase threats and the process to resolution.

Due to the nature of the work, we require all applicants to be actively SC or DV cleared.

Skills / Experience

  • Extensive experience working as a Cyber Security Consultant
  • Experience with Auditing and consulting face to face
  • Stakeholder management
  • Public Sector Experience
  • SC or DV clearance.

This role will be inside IR35, require up to 3 days on-site in the South West, running until the end of October 2024 with a 12-month extension thereafter. Rate-wise, we are looking for at between £650-£750p/day
