Location: Rochdale

Salary : up to £40,0000 Depending on Experience

Consultants : Cassidy Pinder & Karen Reynolds

Currently working with a fantastic Client based in Rochdale - who are looking to appoint a Customs Manager to join their team. Working hours are Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to Supply Chain Director, you will Develop & Maintain Internal Policies, Processes and Standards across Legislation and Company Expectations :

  • Leading Quality & Compliance Audits : Including Reporting Results
  • Ensure all Compliance with Customs & Foreign Trade Legislation
  • Assure Quality of Products & Services - Manage & Investigating and Reporting
  • Checking Compliance of New & Existing Suppliers
  • Maintaining Processes Manual Workbook
  • Prepare & Represent the Business for Internal & External Customer Audits

Profile:

  • Must have strong experience working in a Similar Customs Role
  • Working Knowledge of Legislation Changes - Including Environment / Packaging etc
  • Strong IT skills needed - including Excel (SAP Would be Beneficial)
  • Must have a Full UK Driving License
  • ISO Audit Experience / Import and Export Knowledge in Customs Needed
