Full time (8.30am - 5.00pm, Monday to Friday), permanent

£22,500 + depending on experience

Qualitex Supplies is an established family-owned distributor of shower and bathroom products, celebrating over 30 years supplying showrooms, trade counters and builder’s merchants with our own exclusive QX Bathroom Product brands.

Our head office administrates all sales and customer service enquiries from Aylesford, Kent with national deliveries from our distribution centres in Nottingham and Aylesford.


About the role:

As a Customer Service/Spares Assistant, you will play a vital role in our After Sales Team, supporting our internal sales and customer service departments. This dynamic and exciting position offers an opportunity to develop your professional skill set while contributing to the growth and success of our organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the sales team and external customer base to identify required spare parts.
  • Process spares orders, utilising basic PC skills to ensure accurate and timely order processing and logging.
  • Pick, pack and despatch/load product spares from our warehouse/spares rooms.
  • Liaise with UK and overseas manufacturers to order required parts.
  • Receive, log, and put away deliveries of spare parts in the relevant stock rooms.
  • Maintain a high level of organisation in stock rooms.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date spares records in our database, ensuring all stock changes are properly documented.
  • Handle incoming after sales calls with a confident and professional telephone manner, providing assistance and information to customers.
  • Proactively resolve customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints, striving to provide exceptional service and achieve customer retention.

Requirements:

  • Some areas of the role require a reasonable level of fitness i.e. picking/packing/loading spares items.
  • Confident and professional telephone manner with the ability to handle calls effectively.
  • Basic PC skills and proficiency in using email and other office software.
  • Strong initiative, urgency, and common sense to tackle challenges and solve problems.
  • A team player mentality with the ability to collaborate and contribute to the success of the sales and customer service departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to effectively engage with customers and colleagues.
  • Own transportation is essential due to limited local public transport links.
