Customer Service/Internal Sales

As Internal Sales the focus will be on dealing with customer enquiries, preparing quotations that align to the customer requirements in order to generate an order, and coordinating orders from point of order to completed purchase order. Internal sales has a role to play in supporting external business activities to achieve sales targets and profitability.

Key tasks:

• Handle customer enquiries to generate quotations

• Internal communication with sales representatives and other departments

• Follow up on pending quotes to convert to orders

• Negotiate and solve objections with customers related to quoted prices and deliveries

• Processing and updating information on ERP and CRM systems

• Develop product, application and market knowledge related to the company’s activities

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• Experience in a similar role/ undertaking quotes and administration tasks

• Excellent phone manner, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload

• IT - ERP and CRM experience, good MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Teams.

• Commercial understanding of product cost, gross margin and selling price relationships
