Customer Service Associate

Working as part of the sales team, this role is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, supporting existing relationships and building new relationships to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and customer satisfaction goals. They make and receive telephone calls/emails to manage the sales process including initial solicitation, picture research, price quotation and negotiation, image licensing and problem resolution.

Your Next Challenge:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by selling to customers and engaging with them to understand their needs.
  • Proactively seek out new business and grow existing business.
  • Maintain service levels and drive revenue through relationship management.
  • License rights to images and service new and existing accounts.
  • Provide photo research and organise image delivery.
  • Negotiate pricing within established guidelines and maintain price agreements for assigned customers.
  • Support all pre/post sales activity as and when required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Prior relevant experience working in sales and or customer service to targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
  • Good sales and service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships via telephone and email.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fully computer literate and able to use the full MS Office suite.
  • Degree or equivalent, preferably with an Art History, History, Classics, or similar background.
  • Strong picture research ability.

They have been working with leading companies worldwide for over 20 years, licensing high quality imagery for a variety of editorial and commercial projects. Their online collection of nearly 8.5 million images covers variety of topics, including: Fine Art and architecture, History and politics, Culture (cinema, performing arts, fashion, personalities, sport), Science and Technology, Civilizations (archaeology, religion, human activity, maps), Natural History.

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 dependent on experience, plus individual and team commission.

Contract type: Permanent, full time, in office.

Location: Wimbledon, London SW19
