Customer Service Advisor
Overview:
Join our team and be the foundation of great service, providing assistance for our insurance customers. We are looking for people to join our fabulous Customer Service Advisor teams. Working in our Travel department, with opportunities for cross-training in Motor Breakdown, Home Emergency, and Medical Assistance.
A vital role within our operations department, our Customer Service Advisors handle inbound calls from insurance policy holders who need to make a claim. They provide comprehensive support to customers with a diverse range of needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert support to customers through handling inbound calls, resolving queries, and coordinating with approved suppliers to deliver effective solutions.
Working Hours:
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm for our Travel Department, with the possibility of shift patterns for those trained in other product lines.
- Hybrid working contracts, offering the flexibility of splitting your time between our vibrant Redhill office and working at home.
- Part-time hours are available and can be discussed with our recruitment team.
Intake Dates:
- Monday 3rd June 2024
- Monday 17th June 2024
Salary & Benefits:
- Full-time salary starting at £21,870, with potential for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
- Possibility to earn additional £2,000+ per year - subject to completion of cross training.
- Additional shift pay applies should you work a non-core hours shift pattern
- Range of benefits including, employer contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance, life assurance etc
Induction & Training:
- Comprehensive 4-5 week training provided, ensuring all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to support our customers.
- Part-time employees complete training on full-time hours.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Prior insurance experience not necessary; we will provide full training.
- Exceptional customer service skills, including empathy, respect, and patience.
- Ability to navigate difficult conversations and adept problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills including Outlook, Microsoft 365, data entry, and excellent grammar and spelling.
