Reed Business Support is excited to be working with a well-known company in Bath on an exciting new role for a Customer Service Advisor. This role is integral to the business, providing top-quality customer service and supporting the company’s commitment to excellence.

Your Day to Day of the Role:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions, ensuring clear and appropriate communication, both verbally and in writing.
  • Utilise internal systems, such as SAP, to organise and process returns, and process orders efficiently.
  • Handle customer orders and queries over the phone, providing technical advice when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate internal record-keeping processes linked to tasks and activities.
  • Perform accounts administration and general administrative tasks.
  • Learn and apply all customer service processes and internal procedures.
  • Liaise with customers and couriers via phone, email, and system interaction.
  • Contribute to the team by meeting call answered targets and maintaining order accuracy.
  • Ensure all pricing is accurately processed for the Contracts team.

  • Proven experience as a Customer Service professional.
  • Practiced and efficient telephone skills with an energetic and positive approach.

  • Professional behaviour, demonstrating punctuality, organisation, and appropriate presentation.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to achieve shared objectives and build effective relationships.
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate initiative.
  • A desire to learn, achieve personal objectives, and develop professionally.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Flexibility and openness to new tasks and requests.
  • Understanding of customer service values and the ability to deliver high standards of service.

Working Hours:
  • 39 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30pm and Friday 9am – 5pm (plus one additional day a week finishing at 5pm by prior arrangement with your Manager).
