British Gypsum is looking for a Customer Service Advisor! At our site in East Leake

At British Gypsum we are looking for a customer focused individual to join us as a Customer Service Advisor. In this role, you will be a customer service professional, passionate about delivering exceptional service to our customers. We want you to be fulfilled by the work you do and ultimately enjoy coming to work for British Gypsum every day.

British Gypsum is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand's, pioneering the use of drylining partitions, wall linings, ceilings and plaster finishes we're able to create better buildings and leave a positive legacy of improving people's lives.

What you will be doing:

Our sites are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.

  • Respond to customer enquiries, process orders and contact customers across multiple businesses using a variety of communication methods
  • Mastering more specialist services
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities and generating ideas to improve our service
  • Gather customer insight through the strong relationships you build to trigger business improvements
  • Show a desire and commitment to develop your own skills and knowledge to perform at your best
  • Mastering more specialist activities including managing export orders, dealing with bespoke orders, account management, customer care, and supporting our Plasterboard Recycling Scheme

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a customer-focused and proactive person who enjoys working as part of a team, whilst also being able to manage your own workload. No previous experience is required. Just a desire to learn and have a passion to put the customer first.
