Customer Service Administrator

Wareham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am -5pm

We are excited to be recruiting a Customer Service Administrator for our client in Wareham.

Our client is looking for someone who has an enquiring mind, and an eye for detail, so able to identify and to take a proactive approach to ensure the team are working as optimally as possible.

Responsibilities

You will be reporting to the Customer Service and Fulfilment Manager, supporting them with the day-to-day activities of making sure customer orders are fulfilled and to also help in liaising with suppliers to make sure orders are going to be delivered on time whilst also helping with booking shipments and freight forwarders from various suppliers around the world. You will also need to be confident in talking to any member of the team as the role requires communication with accounts and the sales departments.

As part of your role, you’ll be expected to learn and understand internal systems and processes so that you can assist other people both internal and external.

This role will require someone who is self-motivated and is able to pick things up mid-process as you’ll be providing support and cover for roles during absences. Below are some of the tasks that you’ll be required to undertake:

Loading customer orders

Loading purchase orders

Answering emails from suppliers and customers

Using spreadsheets to record data.

Invoicing/despatching customer orders

Booking in parts

Covering the group mailbox

Understanding the warehouse processes and covering where needed

Answering phone calls

Administrative tasks i.e. filing.

Responsible for customer orders

Using the CRM

Reporting customer service-related queries

Using FedEx, UPS, DHL etc.
