Business Administrator – Kinning Park 

Salary £24000 - £28000 DOE

Are you an experienced Administrator with excellent Customer Service skills? We are currently recruiting for a Business Administrator to join a successful team in Rutherglen.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, someone who has the drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment, where accuracy and attention to detail are key.

Key Responsibilities include...

  • Answer phone calls and emails professionally and in a timely manner
  • Provide a pro-active approach to customer service
  • Provide administrative support to our sales team to maximising their productivity
  • Learning our order process system
  • Create quotations
  • Process orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Manage customer expectations throughout the order process, making them aware of any extended lead times
  • Work with customers to progress orders, arranging payments and sending order confirmations
  • Check the progress of orders with suppliers and our inhouse production to ensure customers are aware of any delays immediately
  • Client record housekeeping

Skills and experience required

  • Personable
  • Motivated & Pro-active
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good organisation skills
  • Computer literate with good Excel and Outlook skills
  • Hardworking, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Professional telephone manner to deal with clients and suppliers
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Able to work well under pressure
