Customer Service Administrator

Reed in Colchester are supporting our client looking for a versatile Customer Service Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable and can handle various tasks, including administrative duties, assisting underwriters, and answering phones, especially during peak times or when the team is short-staffed.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Chasing brokers via phone and email to ensure timely processing of applications.
  • Keying in applications on the system accurately and efficiently.
  • Answering telephone queries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Quoting customers for services and products.
  • Performing general administrative and sales administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring compliance by checking that all documents, such as payslips, match the applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a team environment and contributing to a collective effort.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to various roles within the office.
  • Previous experience in roles such as mortgage admin, case owner, or similar positions in the housing or finance industry is advantageous.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and contribute ideas.

Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm.
  • One Saturday in three, 10 am to 4 pm, with a day off in lieu the following week.
